A new joint album by Neil Young & Crazy Horse will be released on November 18th. World Record consists of ten tracks produced by Rick Rubin and Young and recorded at Malibu’s Shangri-La studios. The first harbinger “Love Earth” has already been released.
“World Record” will be available digitally, as well as on vinyl, CD, cassette and at The Greedy Hand Store of the Neil Young Archives (NYA), as well as in music stores. The label describes the collection as a “cautiously optimistic meditation on the past, present and future of our shared planet”. The work is characterized by folk, rock and a “classic Crazy Horse guitar odyssey”. All tracks were recorded live and mixed down to analogue tape. “True magic is permanent, and we believe we have it,” Young said.
