Sandra Beijert almost melts when she opens the doors of the van she drove to the shelter in Zwolle. The shelter there took in over 400 neglected guinea pigs that came from one home. They had scabies, mites or are pregnant. ,,I will soon lose them very quickly”, Beijert sighs about her new offspring.
