Necklace robbery in a late night shop on Sonnenallee in Berlin-Neukölln! A 51-year-old was seriously injured.
The woman was in a late shop on Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. on the corner of Sonnenallee and Braunschweiger Straße, the Berlin police said on Wednesday.
There, a man tore her gold-colored chain from her neck. He fled with the chain into a car parked in front of the store. The 51-year-old then ran after the perpetrator and leaned into the car through the open window on the passenger side.
Woman is still hanging in the car window when the robber drives off
When the man drove off suddenly, the woman fell into the vehicle with her upper body. She was dragged several meters until her legs, which were sticking out of the open car window, crashed into a pickup truck on the side of the road. The 51-year-old was thrown out of the car and fell onto the street.
The woman was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to hospital with multiple broken bones.
The suspect initially remained at large. He is said to have fled in a gray Opel station wagon in the direction of Saalestrasse.
