Some 7,800 people were evacuated in Berlin on Wednesday after a World War II bomb was found in the east of the city. They temporarily had to move to a safer place until the explosive could be detonated in a controlled manner. According to the police, this took longer than expected because some people with walking difficulties needed more time.
