Launched from the Kaliningrad region, the “Dagger” can fly to Western European capitals in seven to ten minutes, Forbes notes. The power of the “Dagger” with a nuclear charge is dozens of times greater than the power of the bomb dropped by the Americans on Hiroshima, the publication claims.
The flight range of the X-47 Kinzhal missile is 2,000 km, the flight speed is ten times the speed of sound (3.2 km per second). The missile leaves no time for air defense systems to interceptbecause it flies on a flatter trajectory compared to conventional ballistic missiles, Forbes notes.
The deployment of the MiG-31K in the Kaliningrad region serves as a warning to NATO, the publication believes.
