The volleyball players of SVG Lüneburg presented the Berlin Recycling Volleys on Wednesday evening in the German duel in the Champions League round of 16. The team of coach Stefan Hübner won in his own hall in a dramatic way with 3: 2 (25:19, 23:25, 25:23, 24:26, 27:25).
For the first time after three defeats, the Lower Saxony triumphed again. On September 14th, both teams had faced themselves in the semi-finals of the league cup, on November 23 in the DVV Cup, on December 7th in the league-Berlin had triumphed every time.
In two weeks (February 26, 7.30 p.m.), the permanent duel continues with the second leg in the Berlin Max-Schmeling-Halle. Warta Zawiercie from Poland is waiting in the quarter -finals of the premier class. The permanent duel between Lüneburg and Berlin goes on March 8, then the top game in the Bundesliga will increase.
