Meanwhile, Karl-Anthony Towns had a great day for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 26-year-old led his team to a 149-139 win at the San Antonio Spurs with 60 points and 17 rebounds, setting a new record in the Timberwolves’ franchise history. 60 points is also the highest value so far this season. The Timberwolves are all but certain of at least one place in the play-in tournament after the win.
