Bucks roll over Bulls – even without Middleton
Milwaukee champions, the Suns’ opponents in the final last year, also have to do without an important player in the injured Khris Middelton for the time being. The Bucks had a similarly strong reaction, winning 111-81 at the Chicago Bulls and also reclaiming the lead in the Eastern Conference series.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had a rather average evening for his standards with 18 points, but Grayson Allen came up trumps from the bench, hit five three-pointers and ended up with 22 points.
Hawks create first win against Miami
The Atlanta Hawks made it back in the series against the Miami Heat with a hard-fought home win. A 16-point lead wasn’t enough for the third win in three games. Trae Young hit a layup with 4.4 seconds left to give the Hawks the win. The encounter in Atlanta had started almost three quarters of an hour late. The hall had initially been cleared again because of a suspicious package.
