Jacque Vaughn has been signed to head coach the Brooklyn Nets of the American Basketball League (NBA).
In a statement from the club, it was reported that 47-year-old Vaughn was contracted to serve as head coach.
Vaughn, who has been assistant coach with the team since 2016, took over as interim head coach following Steve Nash’s departure.
Vaughn had his first head coaching experience with the Orlando Magic in 2012-2015. The young coach made 10 appearances for the Nets, where he briefly took over in 2020.
The Nets have left the field with 4 wins and 7 losses in 11 games this season in the Eastern Conference.
