Famous NBA stars celebrate Midsummer in Finland and the nightless night by playing golf and taking a sauna.
Michael Cooper, Byron Scott and Eddie Jordan are legends of a total of nine NBA championships. Last week, a strike group of three gamblers ate new potatoes, herring and wings and drank tequila in Hämeenlinna.
The trio and their wives arrived in Finland at the beginning of Midsummer week on Monday. The return was more difficult. SAS flights departing from Helsinki–Vantaa airport were cancelled, which is why we got on the trip late. The return to the United States and Los Angeles took place on Midsummer’s Eve.
The NBA stars were guests at the Hook Midnight Event golf event played by the Hook restaurant chain. The wing chain paid for the violins of soccer millionaires. The entire visit, including flights, hotel stays in a luxury hotel and transportation, cost a whopping 30,000 euros, confirms the owner and manager of the Hook chain Juha Vuorio.
According to information from Iltalehti, a separate van was needed just to transport the suitcases of the trio of players and their wives.
There were thirty bags, and golf clubs and carts were pushed on top of it.
Wife of Byron Scott Cecilia “Cece” Scott is a famous reality TV star in the USA. Popular Basketball Wives – series has already been running for 17 seasons.

– Yes, Finland’s light, freshness, food and warmth impressed everyone. Definitely a top-20 player of all time Julius Erving promised to come next year, Vuorio says.
The group played and saunaed in Vanajanlinna, and the food was delicious.
“They bought Finnish glass as a housewarming party,” says Vuorio, who hosted the group and was the father of the idea for the golf tournament.
The guests also grabbed the birch tree without inhibition, even though it was amusing and strange at first.
