the Toronto Raptors pushed after a moment of shock and a long interruption with a 131:91 against the Indiana Pacers to the important sixth place in the East, which would mean direct qualification for the playoffs. A loudspeaker caught fire in the second quarter, which is why the hall had to be evacuated.
Bankruptcy for the Wagner brothers, next victory for Schröder
At the bottom of the table in the Eastern Conference are the Orlando Magic with the Wagner brothers beating the 110-114 against the Sacramento Kings lost another close game this season after extra time. Orlando conceded the equalizer 21 seconds before the end in regular time despite a four-point lead. Franz Wagner was the Magic’s top scorer with 19 points, his brother Moritz showed a good game coming from the bench with 15 points, six rebounds and five assists.
the Houston Rockets with Dennis Schröder won at the Portland Trail Blazers with 115:98 and are now like Orlando with 20 wins of the season at the bottom of the table in their conference. Schroeder scored ten points and managed eight assists and four steals but also made five ball losses.
