The German basketball professional Isaiah Hartenstein is moving from the Los Angeles Clippers to the New York Knicks within the North American NBA league.
This was announced by the new club of the 24-year-old center. Hartenstein will thus play the home games in the jersey of his new employer in the legendary Madison Square Garden of the US metropolis. The Knicks did not provide details of his contract.
According to media reports, Hartenstein, who was able to choose a club as a so-called free agent, should receive a little more than 15 million euros for two years of contract. So far, the national player has played for the Houston Rockets, the Denver Nuggets, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Clippers in the strongest basketball league in the world since his debut in 2018. Hartenstein will not play for the German national team this summer.
