NBA: Dunleavy succeeds Myers as GM of the Golden State Warriors

Long-time NBA professional Mike Dunleavy succeeds Bob Myers, a guarantee of success, and becomes the new general manager of the Golden State Warriors. The 42-year-old was last Vice President.

Myers had not renewed his expiring contract. Under the 48-year-old’s leadership, the franchise had become an NBA champion four times since 2012.

Dunleavy was selected as the third pick by Golden State in the 2002 NBA draft and played with the club for five years. After a 15-year playing career, he was hired by the Warriors as a scout in 2018.
