Gabriele Procida and Matteo Spagnolo have earned a call on the second round of the Nba 2022 Draft. Respectively the number 36, acquired by the Detroit Pistons, and the number 50, of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Selections beyond 30 of the Draft do not have guaranteed contracts. Their future for now still says Europe, to try again in a few years with the NBA. Waiting before understanding if they will play the Summer League with whoever chose them. The Las Vegas tournament would be an important showcase for those who, like the two Azzurri, enter the NBA through the back door. But even from that door, with that uphill start, it is possible to shine.
