A tribute to volunteers in Vledder and the feeling of being imprisoned, those are the messages that two Drenthe New Year’s Eve associations want to convey with their New Year’s Eve stunts.
Association Tied Zat presented a large cage with a dragon in it last night. This statue disappeared from the Brink in Norg last week. Tied Zat wants to indicate the feeling of imprisonment.
According to the association, we are trapped in our region, including by nature, the wolf, the nitrogen rules, the energy companies and the government. Tied Zat reports that these cases could mean the end of life for many things in the villages. “Then we will soon be just like this dragon from Norg, trapped in his cage,” writes Tied Zat.
