The team of national coach Vital Heynen now has eleven points and, with two games left, only has a theoretical chance of making it into the final round of the eight best teams. Canada and leaders USA are still waiting as further opponents.

The best German attacker with a strong 28 points was Lina Alsmeier. The DVV team started without the exceptional player Louisa Lippmann, who switched to beach volleyball.

In the Nations League, the top 16 teams in the world for men and women play against each other at three venues over six weeks. After twelve games per team, the eight best teams advance to the final round. The games in this competition are important for the world ranking.
