National athletes won two silver and two bronze medals at the European Weightlifting Championships in Armenia today.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Weightlifting Federation, national weightlifters took the podium in the organization in the capital Yerevan.
National athlete Dilara Narin became the second in Europe by winning a bronze medal with 101 kilograms in snatch, 134 kilograms in clean and jerk and two silver medals with a total of 235 kilograms.
The other national weightlifter in this weight group, Sara Yenigün, won the bronze medal with her 131 kilos in clean and jerk. Sara took the 4th place with a time of 100 in the snatch and 231 kilograms in total.
The medals were given to the national athletes by Talat Ünlü, the President of the Turkish Weightlifting Federation.
