On the fifth day of the World Junior Taekwondo Championship, national taekwondo player Furkan Münir Doğru won the silver medal.
On the fifth day of the championship, which was organized by the World Taekwondo Federation (WT) in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria and will end on August 7, competitions were held in 4 weight categories. Representing our country in men’s 73 kg category, Furkan Münir Doğru lost to Iran’s Reza Kalhor in the final and finished the championship with a silver medal.
After winning the silver medal with Hayrunnisa Gürbüz on the first day, Turkey increased the number of medals in the championship to 2. On the last day of the championship, 3 taekwondo players will fight for medals.
