To the list of players, made official on Monday 23rd, coach Roberto Mancini wanted to add eight more names for the internship scheduled from 27 to 31 May in the Federal Technical Center of Coverciano. Six of these have won the call-up thanks to the training sessions held between Tuesday and Thursday: Federico Gatti (defender of Frosinone), midfielders Salvatore Esposito (Spal) and Samuele Ricci (Turin), finally the forwards Matteo Cancellieri (Verona), Wilfried Gnonto ( Zurich) and Alessandro Zerbin (Frosinone). In addition to these, Mancini also wanted to call Tommaso Pobega, the Turin midfielder, and Giorgio Scalvini (Atalanta), much used by Gasperini in recent months as a side in the 3-man defense.
