SI title it Cool List and is the National Geographic ranking with the destinations to absolutely discover in 2024. There are a total of 30 destinations in the world that according to the prestigious magazine should be visited during the next year and among these there are two Italian ones.
Two Italian destinations on the National Geographic Cool list
Starting from those in the Bel Paese, the magazine chooses Emilia Romagna and Pompeii, already awarded by Time. In the first case, the magazine recommends visiting not only the cities that will be the backdrop to the first stages of the Tour de France between June and July but also the landscapes among the vineyards.
In the second case, the reason for the trip is known, as it is one of the main archaeological parks which contains the remains of an ancient Roman city. From today, however, it is much easier to reach, thanks to the new direct train that leaves from Rome.

The places mentioned, of which about half is located in Europe, were selected by the magazine for several reasons, including great food, museums and nightlife.
