After her good performances in the first training camp, midfielder Janina Minge will also take part in the second World Cup preparation course for German soccer players.
This was announced by the German Football Association at the start of the training camp until July 8th in Herzogenaurach. For the team of national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg there was still an easy session in the late afternoon.
The 24-year-old Minge from SC Freiburg was nominated for the first course for Lena Lattwein (VfL Wolfsburg), who had broken her collarbone. Minge scored her first goal in DFB dress in the penultimate test match before the World Cup in a 2-1 (1-0) win against Vietnam. She also scored in the 4-1 defeat against VfL Wolfsburg in the cup final. The World Cup will take place in Australia and New Zealand from July 20th to August 20th.
