National coach Voss-Tecklenburg waves a special bonus for the European title

Martina Voss-Tecklenburg can become European Champion with the German women on Sunday. If that works, according to a report, it goes into the sun.

According to a “Bild” report, national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg would receive a very special bonus from her husband Hermann if she triumphed in England – a house in Mallorca. The couple likes to vacation on the Balearic island.

“It’s our oasis of calm. Martina has wanted a house there for years. But a house binds. That’s why I’ve always said no,” said Hermann Tecklenburg, according to the report. “If she wins the European Championship title, I’ll join her wish. Then we’ll look around for a place to stay while we’re on vacation.”

Apart from that, the 54-year-old Voss-Tecklenburg, who has been married to the 74-year-old contractor since 2009 and lives with him in Straelen, would win in the final against England on Sunday (from 6 p.m. in the t-online live ticker) in Wembley Stadium also received the official bonus from the German Football Association: there is 60,000 euros for each member of the squad. Hermann Tecklenburg has flown in to every DFB women’s European Championship game and is also expected to attend the final in London.
