“RIGHT NOW I ONLY HAVE A GOLD MEDAL GOAL”
Buse Naz Çakıroğlu said that they held a joint camp training with the national teams of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, the Netherlands and Poland in Trabzon. Pointing out that they have the Olympic qualifiers to be held in Milan, Italy between March 4-11, Çakıroğlu said, “Two of our friends in two weight categories will compete there. One of our most important wishes is to go to the Olympics 6 out of 6 and win 6 medals out of 6. Everything is right now.” “It is going well and we still have time. Of course, before that there is the European Championship to be held in Serbia between 15-29 April. Our preparations continue in this direction.” said.
The national boxer emphasized that his only goal in Paris is the gold medal and said, “When it comes to the Olympics, you send different messages to the universe. Right now, my only goal is the gold medal.” he said.
Pointing out that her work was very intense, Buse Naz said:
We train twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. We spend the days we fight with one training session. We allocate our time outside of training only to rest because we continue at the same pace the next day. As the Olympic process approaches, it is now more intense as there is also the European Championship before it. We’re getting a little tired, but it will end well.
Çakıroğlu also gave advice to young athletes and said, “The most important thing is to believe and work while walking towards our goal. Whatever the goal and dream, my biggest advice is to believe and continue on their way.” made his assessment.
