Move to Switzerland
After the departure of Marius Wörl to Hannover 96, TSV 1860 Munich let another homegrown player move in the summer: the Swiss junior national player Nathan Wicht, who was only used once in the past third division season due to injury, is turning his back on the “lions” and moves to his home country – the 19-year-old initially left the exact goal open.
Wicht had gone through all youth stations on Grünwalder Straße since 2016 and was raised from the U17 to the professionals in 2021. Since then he has played a total of six competitive games for the first team. The legal footer’s working paper expires at the end of June, but as part of the change, remuneration for TSV 1860 was agreed, “if Nathan develops successfully at his new club,” said the third division club. Confidentiality was therefore agreed on the more precise content of the contract.

Imp over 1860 departure: Grateful for “excellent education”
“I’ve played for TSV 1860 Munich since the U13s. I am extremely grateful for the very good time I was able to spend in Munich and the excellent training at the BayWa youth academy,” said Wicht, adding: “Now a new chapter is beginning for me in my home country, which I am very much looking forward to and at the same time I really appreciate that those responsible at TSV 1860 cleared the way for me to do this.”
