Nathalie Sander is 40, and after her training she started at the Internal Medicine and Oncology department at the Tielt hospital. “After the death of my grandmother, I trained as a Palliative – pain and comfort care referent,” she says. “My heart was with the oncological and palliative patients. I wanted to try everything to increase their comfort so that their last days could be as beautiful as possible.”
In 2016, she switched to the pain clinic, “to be able to offer added value so that people can have no pain or an improvement in their pain, because comfort and quality of life is very important in life.”
