Natasja Froger suddenly ends up in a heated media row: ‘Not expected’

Nice timing: while she will soon shine on television again as presenter of Bonje met de Buren, Natasja Froger is now being dragged into a spicy argument. “Unexpected.”

Natasja Froger is good friends with Monique des Bouvrie and that woman has really ended up in a very serious inheritance case. Her late lover Jan des Bouvrie not only had two children with Monique, but he also had two more with a previous wife. And there seems to have been some tampering with the inheritance in the run-up to his death.

Natasha in court

Is Monique the Rachel Hazes of the interior design world? Is she just sucking up that entire inheritance? Jan’s two eldest descendants, Nicole and Jean Marc, seized their father’s villa in Naarden at the beginning of this year. A few weeks ago, both camps were back in court, for a three-hour hearing in Leeuwarden.

Nicole was completely amazed because Monique came up with Natasja Froger. She also simply went to court, even though she is not related at all. A little bit crazy. “That trial was terrible, because Monique brought her friend Natasja Froger with her. I found that very uncomfortable and sad,” she says The Telegraph.

Outsider

You don’t want to share something like that with other people, Nicole continues. “I thought it was terrible that Natasja, as an outsider, was given insight into a sensitive private matter. During a suspension I even asked the judge if Natasja wanted to keep aloof. It was so inappropriate, and thankfully the judge agreed.”

What a strange thing. What on earth was Natasha doing in that court? Was she fed up with René for a moment? Did she just want to poke her nose into other people’s business? Or did she just not have much to do that day?

Natasha responds

Natasja responds in front of the camera Show news. “We were there well in advance, half an hour in advance. Then I also spoke to Nicole and she didn’t say anything about it at all. I actually didn’t want to go in at all. I had a book with me. I had only promised Monique, because she was just very upset, like: I will drive you.”

Can’t Monique drive herself? Yes. “But I don’t want her to drive onto the side of the road and then I’ll just wait outside. Even if I wait in the car, I don’t mind. Then Nicole also had someone with her, so when she told the usher: ‘No, you can come in too.’”

Cup of coffee

And then? “At one point there was a second session in which some private things were discussed and then I said: ‘Then I’ll stay outside and have a nice cup of coffee.’ Then the same messenger very kindly offered me a separate room where I had a nice cup of coffee and then I drove them home again.”

Does she hate that Nicole found it annoying? “No, because if she had really found it, she would have told me at that moment and she didn’t, but she may have found it later… But no, we just greeted each other and then again, so it surprised me. Yes…”

Who wins?

The big question is: who will win this inheritance case? Private boss Evert Santegoeds: “The whole battle is extremely painful, but I must say that the two eldest children have already achieved a few victories in this whole matter.”
