Natasja Froger successful against football: ‘Home TV always scores’

Natasja Froger was the most watched alternative to women’s football on NPO 1 last night.

For the Same Money, Natasja Froger’s program in which people look for their dream home outside the expensive city, was the most watched alternative to women’s football yesterday. Where the Netherlands – Belarus scored 1 million viewers (25% market share), Natasha had 743 thousand (18%) on RTL 4.

Living TV scores

It doesn’t surprise viewing figures expert Tina Nijkamp. She also points to the success of that other home show on RTL 4: Buying Without Watching. “I think that is the most successful living format ever in the target group 20 to 54 years old so beloved by broadcasters. It [marktaandeel van 39 procent] is similar to The Masked Singer and The Voice.”

For the same money also scores well. “As a broadcaster, programming a residential program is a very good idea. Living formats are always a hit. From TV Makelaar to Dream Home Wanted, from In Holland Stands A House to vtwonen.”

URK!

The prime-time bronze this time goes to the SBS 6 show URK!, good for a score of 586 thousand viewers (14%). Immediately afterwards, the Chateau Meiland repeat did not attract enough viewers for a place in the top 25, namely 301 thousand (7%).

Furthermore, NPO 2’s Nieuwsuur (569 thousand and 14%) and NPO 2’s Zwarte Zwanen (329 thousand and 8%) were most popular during prime time.

Jochem disappoints

Jochem Myjer disappoints on the eve of NPO 1 with repeats of his program Jochem in de Wolken. Yesterday only 334 thousand people (12%).

Tina: “Jochem in de Wolken didn’t score well in prime time, unfortunately it didn’t work out in the repeat in the evening. 334 thousand viewers is not enough for NPO 1. The repeat of We Are There Almost scored double last week. The format is therefore not good enough, it will certainly not be due to the popularity of Jochem Myjer.”

Viewing figures

Other programs that did not make the top 15 include Shownieuws (478 thousand), 112 Today (325 thousand) and Goedemorgen Nederland (306 thousand).
