March 2, 1998 Viennese Natascha Kampusch started walking alone to school in her blue checkered dress.

Kampusch had left home in a bad mood. He was angry at his mother for making him wear ticklish tights.

Along the quiet street was a white van, with a scary-looking man standing next to it. Kampusch hesitated, but decided to pass anyway. However, nothing would happen.

Mother had one rule: don’t leave in anger, because you never know if you’ll see the other person again. That morning the rule was broken.

Kampusch did not come home that day. He didn’t even make it to school.

10-year-old Natascha Kampusch was kidnapped in the middle of the school trip. He lived 3096 days in captivity, in a dungeon located at a depth of three meters. He was abused, humiliated and starved.

In today’s episode, Natascha Kampusch’s mother remembers the day of the kidnapping. Over

That dungeon can be seen on television today, both in the form of a police photo and in a reconstructed form. The first episode of the three-part documentary series is shown today on TV2.

After an eight-year nightmare, Kampusch managed to escape, and the eyes of the whole world turned on him.

Kampusch says in the news documentary that he expected the outside world to be fair and understanding. However, the truth was different.

In the outside world, a harsh reception awaited Natascha Kampusch. Over

For the past fifteen years, Kampusch has been blamed and suspected of being a liar. Now he tells his whole story.

For the first time, Kampusch also presents the personal belongings he saved from his imprisonment. Among them is a blue checkered dress.
