One thing is certain after today: Mark Rutte will not return as Prime Minister of our country. It could just be that the BBB will become the largest party for the elections and Caroline van der Plas will be in the picture as the new prime minister. She appeals to a remarkable number of people, including Natacha Harlequin.

Premier Place

Caroline is not ruling out the premiership. She says Show news: “Suppose I wanted to or if asked of me – that is of course also possible – then I would only want it in such a way that I really am Prime Minister in the Netherlands and do not say how Rutte is doing with traveling all over the world and stuff.”

Expert William Rutten says: “I understand what she means. Rutte is the type who visits all prime ministers and is friends with everyone, but I understand that she has something like: that life is not for me.”

Natacha positive

Natacha has her doubts, but thinks it might work. “No, but you do have to establish contacts, diplomatic relations, etcetera. Yes, or you have to send your deputy prime minister.”

Colleague Bart Ettekoven: “Yes, of course you could. That she sends the Deputy Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs in that direction for all those tasks.”

William: “I think it would be good too, because how often is our prime minister away while there is plenty to do here?”

Female Prime Minister

Natacha is remarkably enthusiastic about Caroline. “Yes, but her following is immense. I hope we get the first, the first female prime minister.”

Bart: “Yes, would you like it?”

Natacha: “Yes, absolutely.”

Bart: “Are you going to vote for her too?”

Suprised

Natacha: “I don’t really know, because I have to tell you: I’ve had it with that fallen cabinet in the meantime. I have to think about that for a second, but that that would be fun… Absolutely, yes! Certainly. You look totally surprised!”

Bart: “Yes, kind of, yes.”
