This enables users to adapt the models without having to transfer sensitive data from the Snowflake platform to other providers, where the data may not be optimally secured.

“Data is the foundation for building generative AI applications that understand the complexities and unique voice of each business,” said NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in the announcement. “Together, NVIDIA and Snowflake will create an AI operation that will help companies transform their own valuable data into custom generative AI models to build breakthrough new applications – right from the cloud platform they use to run their businesses .” In addition to the NeMo toolkit, NVIDIA will also provide the technical infrastructure needed to train the AI models. Similar cooperation with ServiceNow
NVIDIA announced a similar partnership with US cloud company ServiceNow back in May. Using NVIDIA software and infrastructure, ServiceNow delivers generative AI capabilities designed to help the company’s customers automate business processes that benefit IT teams, customer service, employees and developers. “As generative AI adoption accelerates, organizations are turning to trusted vendors with battle-tested, secure AI capabilities to increase productivity, gain a competitive advantage, and ensure data and intellectual property security,” ServiceNow revealed -President CJ Desai confident in a press release. “Together, NVIDIA and ServiceNow will help drive new levels of automation to increase productivity and maximize business impact.”
