Apple Music Classical
Apple fans have been waiting for quite some time for the company to make good on its announcement and launch a music service for lovers of classical music. When the group took over the streaming provider Primephonic last year, the company said it wanted to integrate the new service into the existing Apple Music offering – but so far this has not happened. Now there are increasing indications that Apple Music Classical could still be launched in 2022: A tech expert found information about this in Apple’s own backend on Twitter.

It remains to be seen whether Apple will remain true to its announcement and actually integrate the service into Apple Music. Speculations are also circulating on the market about a possible subscription model.
Apple Music Classical could open up new user groups for the company and have a positive impact on Apple Music subscriber growth.
iOS 16.2
Apple only released the new version of its mobile operating system iOS 16 in September, which brought a number of innovations with it. In the meantime, iOS 16.1 has also been rolled out, which has added additional functions, and a security update based on it has already been brought to the mobile Apple people.
With iOS 16.2, a larger software version is now in the starting blocks, and Apple wants to publish the update to the operating system before the end of this year. iOS 16.2 is currently in the beta phase, but the release could be planned for mid-December. The update should contain, among other things, the new whiteboard app Freeform and a widget that should enable the documentation of medication on the lock screen. In addition, iOS 16.2 should bring a satellite emergency call, which can also be used to get help in areas without cell phone coverage. The function should be called “Emergency SOS”, but it is not available for all iPhone models.
iPadOS 16.2, macOS 13.1, watchOS 9.2 and tvOS 16.2
iPad users will probably also be able to enjoy iPadOS 16.2 this year, while the new watchOS 9.2 operating system is to be made available for Apple Watch users. Apple has announced further improvements and bug fixes, and the performance and security of watchOS 9 should also be improved with the new update.
Meanwhile, Mac users can still look forward to macOS 13.1 in 2022. The operating system should also bring new functions, including iCloud photos.
And there is also a new software update for the AppleTV in 2022: tvOS 16.2 should bring a voice recognition function to the devices, so Siri can recognize different users and distinguish them from each other.
Self-repair program is becoming more widespread
Also later this year, Apple plans to expand its self-service repair program to additional countries and make it available for additional Mac models. As part of the program, private users who want to replace the battery or carry out minor repairs on their Apple devices themselves have access to original Apple parts, the necessary tools and repair instructions.
