The ferocious response of the Iranian authorities

The response to which, of course, was ferocious. The rebellion was crushed in violence, with the killing of hundreds of protesters, mostly women. There were thousands of illegal arrests, over 22 thousand, accompanied by torture, rape and intimidation and, in some cases, irregular trials and death sentences.

He had, in fact, announced that under no circumstances would she wear the hijab, not even to go to the hospital and the prison director said that, according to the orders of higher authorities, moving out of prison without a veil is prohibited.

A medical team went to the prison to examine the woman and the CT scan showed two veins with severe blockages and high pulmonary pressure. In a message sent after receiving the Nobel Prize, the activist expressed gratitude for her recognition. And, once again he called on the Iranian people “to final victory” because even if “it won’t be easy to achieve, it is still certain”.
