Naples and Bari to De Laurentiis, appeal on timeshare rejected

The FIGC Court of Appeal says no to the application and confirms the first instance verdict. Now remains the College of guarantee at the Coni for the last degree of sports justice

The FIGC Court of Appeal rejected the appeal of Aurelio and Luigi De Laurentiis as managing directors of Naples and Bari against the federal rule that requires companies to resolve timeshare cases by the start of the 2024-2025 season. The verdict confirms the decisions of the first instance.

NEXT STEPS

Now the De Laurentiis, assisted by the lawyer Mattia Grassani, will appeal to the College of Guarantee at the Coni for the last degree of sports justice. Then there will eventually be administrative justice with the TAR and the Council of State. If even at this point he fails to obtain a favorable judgment, the De Laurentiis family would be forced to sell one of the two clubs by 30 June 2024.
