We look forward to making our commitment to each other official and what follows,” Naomi Biden wrote on Twitter. Soon after, Jill Biden’s spokesperson Michael LaRosa clarified that the costs associated with the celebration will not be paid by the taxpayers but directly by the Bidens“exactly as for other private events hosted by the presidential family – he explained – and following the tradition of previous weddings celebrated at the White House during past administrations”.
