In the end, Germany was an easy taste for Naisleijon.

The Finnish women’s national team claimed an important routine victory over Germany in the women’s ice hockey World Cup.
Naisleijonat grabbed the full point pot with a score of 3–0.
Germany started the match strongly, but by Rosa Lindstedt a power play goal in the opening set quickly turned the tide of the match for Finland. The beginning of the opening goal with a strong foreplay Petra Nieminen. The second assist point was grabbed by the captain Jenni Hiirikoskifor whom the match was the 400th in the A national team.
Emilia Vesa increased Finland’s lead a couple of minutes later. Vesa hit the loose puck spinning in front of the goal past the German goalkeeper Johanna May.
The only hit of the second inning Viivi Vainikka with a handsome individual performance. Vainikka carried the puck quickly into the attack zone and then into the goal while the Germans defended lazily. Hiirikoski grabbed the second assist point.
In the third set, Finland unleashed plenty of attacks. but no further hits were seen.
Finland’s goal Anni Keisala got off easy in the end. 16 shots were scored for Germany. Instead, Mayta was employed for 42 shots.
After the disastrous last games, Naisleijonat, which fell to the B group, is washing its face in style. In the opening match, France fell 14–1.
On Sunday, Finland meets Sweden. Germany somewhat surprisingly defeated Tre Kronor in the opening match of the World Cup, so Finland has a strong attachment to the victory in Group B and the next games.
