Trainer Edwin de Graaf of NAC Breda has been declared ‘clean’ after a tumor was discovered in him in November. The former professional football player underwent surgery in December and had to go to hospital on Thursday for a check-up.
De Graaf discovered the tumor at a fairly early stage and a treatment program followed after the operation. The tumor was local and therefore treatable, NAC reported earlier.
NAC won 3-0 against TOP Oss in the first division on Friday and is close to participating in the play-offs.
