NAC Breda – TOP Oss 3-0
The team from Breda knew before the match that it would be an important pot anyway. A victory over TOP Oss could even have meant a ticket to the play-offs, if De Graafschap would lose at home to Jong PSV.

The latter soon seemed an unlikely scenario. The Superboeren took the lead in their own Vijverberg after 8 minutes. For NAC the sign to put extra gas behind it. And that’s what Edwin de Graaf’s team did.

Still, after more than half a game, a penalty was needed to actually take the lead. De Rooij decorated the penalty kick with a nice dribble, Welat shot the ball in from eleven meters. And less than five minutes later, it was hit again: Van Schuppen scored the 2-0. Shortly before time, Velanas put the final score on the scoreboard with his goal.

With one game to go, a three-point lead and a much better goal difference (+15 to +9), the NAC play-offs seem almost impossible to miss.

FC Eindhoven – FC Emmen 1-0
FC Emmen traveled to Eindhoven on Friday evening with the idea to finally win the title there. For that, it had to take at least a point or hope for FC Volendam’s loss of points. But sure enough, the game was less than two minutes away when it was the home team who took the lead via Dahlhaus.

After the break, the highlight was perhaps the substitution of Jens van Son. The star will stop as a professional football player after this season and said goodbye to the Eindhoven public. After the final whistle, FC Emmen was allowed to celebrate despite the defeat, because FC Volendam went down at FC Dordrecht (3-2).

De Graafschap – Young PSV 1-1
In Doetinchem, Jong PSV met a team that had to win to still have a chance of making the play-offs. And that was reflected in the home side. After just eight minutes, Schuurman gave his team a 1-0 lead. However, after that it fell a bit quiet on the side of De Graafschap. After an hour of play, Bakayoko even scored the equalizer. That was the score after ninety minutes.

FC Den Bosch – Roda JC 1-0
In Den Bosch there was little more at stake. The season has been over for the home team for a while and the Limburgers are equally assured of a place in the play-offs. The fact that both teams found it difficult to recharge for Friday-evening’s game was reflected on the field.

There were hardly any chances and for a long time no goals were scored in De Vliert. Until Ahannach got a revival a few minutes before the end and secured the three points with a placed shot.

Young AZ – Helmond Sport 0-1
For Helmond Sport, the season can be finished as soon as possible. The team is firmly at the bottom of the ranking and ran into three negatives a few months back, after it had too few players for the game with FC Emmen in mid-January.

Still, the duel with Jong AZ caused a small amount of bleeding. With a little luck, Houttequiet headed in his first of the season just under ten minutes before the end. It turned out to be enough for the three points.
