NAC suspends Hilterman until the end of the season, Bannis also misses the final piece

Jeredy Hilterman has played his last game of the current football season. The NAC striker will also remain suspended in the play-offs after his statements at the promotion party of FC Emmen. After the season, it will be looked at how the club and player will continue to work together.

Hilterman was discredited after he spoke negatively about NAC at the promotion party of his former club FC Emmen. He said, among other things, that his switch in the winter was a big mistake.

As a result, the striker was suspended for a week and missed the last league match against Excelsior. His suspension is now extended until the end of the season. NAC will play the first game of the play-offs against ADO tomorrow.

“I spoke to Jeredy (Hilterman ed.) this morning,” said Edwin de Graaf in the run-up to the home game against ADO. “He sees it wasn’t smart. But I have indicated that I want to focus with the current group on achieving our goal. I’m afraid if he returns to the group it will become too much of a distraction. After the play-offs we will see how the situation is then.”

Injury Bannis
Due to Hilterman’s suspension, the choice for the point of the attack is limited for De Graaf. Naoufal Bannis is still injured. The trainer does not expect him to play in these play-offs. Mario Bilate has just returned from injury. He played 60 minutes last Friday. It remains to be seen per game whether he can play 90 minutes.
