NAC loses after Hyballa’s dismissal at VVV, Roda JC remains leader and ADO Den Haag wins in Groningen | Dutch football

round 6 kkdNAC Breda lost the away match at VVV-Venlo two days after the dismissal of coach Peter Hyballa. The team of interim coach Ton Lokhoff lost 3-1 in De Koel. VVV is second in the Kitchen Champion Division, two points behind leader Roda JC.

VVV-Venlo was already 2-0 ahead in De Koel after eight minutes. Twice, attacking midfielder Levi Smans was able to tap in very easily after a low cross. With the first goal on a pass from left back Simon Janssen, four minutes later on a pass from left winger Soulyman Allouch. Via the Danish attacker Magnus Kaastrup, VVV-Venlo took a 3-0 lead in the 36th minute. NAC came back into the match two minutes after halftime when Czech midfielder Dominik Janošek made it 3-1, but that was it in Venlo.

VVV-Venlo is in second place with thirteen points after six games, two points less than Roda JC. The team of coach Bas Sibum won 3-0 against Telstar in Kerkrade. It must be said that the two Limburg clubs are among the four clubs that have already played six matches, just like the still winless Telstar and number fourteen NAC.

Walid Ould-Chikh expressed sympathy for the victims of the earthquake in Morocco after nine minutes after his opening goal. The midfielder, hired from FC Volendam, did this by forming a heart with his hands and kissing his mourning band. Before every match at the second Dutch football level, a minute’s silence was observed for the victims of the earthquake in Morocco and the floods in Libya. Roda JC made it 3-0 thanks to goals from Maximilian Schmid (’65) and Arjen van der Heide (’95).

Henk Veerman match winner in Groningen

ADO Den Haag won 0-1 at FC Groningen, which is eleventh with only seven points after five games. On a pass from Jort van der Sande, Henk Veerman scored his first goal for ADO Den Haag after fifteen minutes of play with a subtle marker ball. Coach Darije Kalezic’s team is now fourth with ten points, just like SC Cambuur.

Two matches were stopped twice because beer was thrown on the field after goals. That happened at FC Den Bosch – MVV Maastricht (1-2) and Helmond Sport – TOP Oss (1-0). Both matches are still ongoing.

The only two clubs in the KKD that did not play tonight were SC Cambuur and Willem II. They will meet each other on Sunday at 4.45 pm in Leeuwarden. Cambuur can share second place if they win, Willem II will have eleven points if they win.
