NAC crashed hard at the gatekeeper Jong FC Utrecht: 4-1

Finishing a competition in the Kitchen Champion Division on Carnival Monday. That was no fun for the players and fans of NAC Breda in advance. The result of the away match against Jong FC Utrecht can be guessed. The inconsistently performing team of trainer Peter Hyballa lost with considerable numbers from the last team: 4-1.

Still, initially little seemed to be going on for NAC. Tijs Velthuis opened the score after just under 4 minutes. He headed in from a corner: 0-1.

Before the first quarter of an hour was over, Jong Utrecht had restored the balance. Derensili Sanches Fernandes shot the ball into the goal from about 20 meters. In the 37th minute Yannick Leliendal was not put in the way and that meant 2-1. NAC remained somewhat in the game for a long time, but that changed very quickly after more than an hour of play. In the 66th minute, Anthony Descotte made it 3-1, after which Sanches Fernandes set the final score at 4-1 within a minute.

Stan Teuben, the referee from Aarle-Rixtel, handed out a yellow card three times, including to Cuco Martina from NAC. The formation from Breda remains tenth due to the eleventh league defeat.
