It wasn’t all that great when it came to football. It was exciting in The Hague. After the 2-1 defeat, NAC had to come. Without taking any really big risks, it did get the best chances in the Hofstad.

Mario Bilate was close to the opening goal twice. His first bet landed on the crossbar. His second chance was well taken by the ADO goalie. It showed that NAC was certainly not without a chance to reach the next round of the play-offs.

Tension
The post-competition often guarantees tension and spectacle. The piece of spectacle was missing in The Hague, but the tension was to die for. NAC was the better team, without playing great football. It played opportunistically and that led to threatening moments in front of goal.

The branch once again stood behind the team, knowing that this could just be the last game of the season.

Season in a nutshell
At NAC, Moise Adilehou took the lead with a quarter of the game to play. The tall defender caused unrest in front of the goal of the Hagenese. The team from Breda, who absolutely deserved a goal, hit the crossbar for the second time in the game. This time it was substitute Ezechiel Banzuzi who was unlucky.

Where it seemed to wait for the 0-1, the ball fell in on the other side. NAC gave away a lot of spaces in the back and Amar Catic took advantage of that. The attacker came out on speed and wanted to pass the ball. Unfortunately, the ball fell painfully slowly into the own goal via Dion Malone. The season of the Breda residents in a nutshell.

No promotion
The game was actually already decided, but just under five minutes later the 2-0 fell. In stoppage time it was still Banzuzi with a goal for the visitors. But it was no longer exciting in The Hague. ADO was fatally effective and can prepare for a match against another Brabant club: FC Eindhoven.

Another season awaits NAC in the Kitchen Champion Division. After a year of turmoil, promotion has never been realistic. Yet the defeat in The Hague was painful. NAC earned more based on these 90 minutes. But based on the entire season, nothing really.

It is hoped for the loyal supporters that there will be a little more peace around the club next year or that they will be able to compete for the top places.
