The N371 between Assen and Hoogersmilde will be closed from October 2 to 8. Maintenance is being carried out on the Veenhoopsbrug in Smilde.
The contractor will replace the wearing layer on the bridge and various painting work will also be carried out in hard-to-reach places.
There will be a diversion route, which will be indicated by signs. Motorists can take a detour via Oosterwolde and Veenhuizen. Cyclists and pedestrians can use the Tentinger Draai or Polack Bridge.
