The N34 between traffic circle Gieten and Zuidlaren will be closed for two weeks from tomorrow morning due to maintenance work. The closure applies in both directions.
The road will be closed from 07:00 tomorrow morning, after which the route will not be accessible until Friday, August 4 in the evening.
Traffic from Emmen/Borger towards Zuidlaren/Groningen will be diverted via the N33 and the A28.
From the opposite direction, road users can use the N386, A28 and N33 to the Gieten roundabout, where the N34 slip road is accessible again. The detour routes are signposted.
