The airport of Zaventem, Brussels Airport, falls under the competence of the federal government, and the party N-VA wants to get rid of that. That is what N-VA MPs Theo Francken, Sander Loones and Bert Wollants said on Thursday during a press conference at one of the spotters’ places in Steenokkerzeel. The three want the Flemish Region to take over the competence.
