N-VA regrets “that respect for the language law is not a priority for the Brussels majority parties Open Vld and Groen, even on the Flemish holiday”. Only one proposal was on the agenda of the Brussels Parliament on 11 July: a proposal for a resolution from the party with measures against language discrimination in the Brussels municipalities in the General Affairs Committee. However, the opposition party’s text was voted down. Only N-VA voted in favour, the PVDA abstained.
