Mysterious death of Saudi sisters (aged 23 and 24) keeps Australian police under spell | Abroad

Two Saudi sisters have mysteriously died in their flat in Sydney. The Australian police have identified the two twenty-somethings – who were found lifeless last month.

The deaths of two Saudi sisters Amaal Abdullah Alsehli (23) and Asra Abdullah Alsehli (24) came to light after the two stopped paying their rent. The landlord was concerned and informed the police. Officers found the two young women dead in their rental apartment on June 7. Presumably, the sisters had been dead for some time before they were found in their separate bedrooms.

What exactly happened is still a big question mark. “Despite extensive investigations, detectives have not been able to determine how the women died,” the police statement said. There were no obvious injuries. The autopsy report should clarify the mysterious circumstances in which the women died.

“Detectives want to talk to anyone who may have seen or have information about the women’s movements in the days and weeks leading up to their deaths,” the police said. The family of the Saudi sisters has been informed. Police say there are no indications that anyone from the family was involved in the two’s deaths.

Little details are currently known about the Saudi sisters, who arrived in Australia from Saudi Arabia in 2017. The local residents testify that the sisters “lived very much on their own”. An anonymous source tells Daily Mail that the women appeared “very anxious”.
