Step 3 – Create the wallet in the MyEtherWallet app
Now download the MyEtherWallet app from your app store. This is available for Android and iOS. The official name of the app is “MEW wallet – Ethererum wallet”. According to the current status, the app is only available in English. After installation on your mobile device, you will see this screen when you start the app. You can now have a look at the guide at your leisure. Then select “Create a free wallet” to create your MyEtherWallet.
Next, a window will open in which you will receive general safety instructions. Read them through and then click on.
Now you have to enter a six-digit PIN and confirm it by entering it again.
Tip: Don’t include a birthday, wedding date or anything like that. Potential hackers try this data first.
