For the BZ topic of the month “The main thing is healthy!”, I do without meat for the whole of March. The first challenge came on day 1.

I was terribly hungry, but had little time. That means there’s something to take with you on the go.

The problem with it: the offer was very meat-heavy. On my left, the kebab shop that I trust, on the right a snack bar that advertises a wide variety of chicken variations. There was also Italian, but I wanted to avoid pizza because of the lactose intolerance.

In the end it turned out to be a portion of spaghetti with green pesto.

I’ll have to plan my time better next time. I think 11 euros for a pasta dish that I could cook myself is a bit steep.

I do without meat to find out how it affects my health and because good meat quality costs money in the long run.
