My dog was kidnapped in front of the supermarket

Alexander Renaldy is desperately looking for his beloved half-breed David. He had tied it up in front of a Netto supermarket on Wolframstrasse in Berlin-Tempelhof.

Alexander Renaldy (30) still can’t understand what happened: his dog David has disappeared!

He took the mongrel to the Netto on Wolframstrasse in Tempelhof last Friday and tied him up in front of the supermarket – when the master came out again, the dog was gone. “He must have been kidnapped,” says the trained graphic designer.

The mongrel is five years old, comes to about his knees, has a black snout, gray fur – and is very trusting.

Renaldy has already contacted the police, animal rescue “savingsoul“, distributed flyers and put up notices. But there is no trace of David.

“Sometimes I hear him barking,” says Renaldy sadly. For him, David is more than a pet. He is a support in difficult times, a kind of therapy dog.

Renaldy: “There’s no rhythm at all.” He’s working through some documents just to distract himself. It’s ignorance that’s getting to him. “I just want to know where David is!”

He reproaches himself for having tied him alone in front of the net. “I can only warn all dog owners to never do this.”

But errors or not. Renaldy is sure someone just took David away!
