MVV Maastricht will not continue with trainer Wels

MVV Maastricht has immediately terminated the collaboration with trainer Klaas Wels. According to the Limburg club, the performance and “team development” fell short of expectations. “Wels was unable to continue his results achieved at Top Oss in Maastricht,” said MVV in a statement.

Wels came to MVV at the beginning of this season. Before that, he was a trainer of Top Oss for four years.

Until the end of the season, assistant coach Maurice Verberne takes over as head coach.
